Mario Kart Tour.
Nintendo’s move into the smartphone market has been pretty successful, what with Fire Emblem, Mario & Animal Crossing all proving popular, but the potential to dwarf them all belongs to Mario Kart Tour, which we have finally got a glimpse of via some closed beta footage. The wait appears to have been worth it too with Mario Kart Tour looking very much like Mario Kart should all be it a little simplified control wise, a must given the platform.
The footage also revealed that there should be both classic & new tracks up for selection, as well as a large number of racers, each with access to unique items & power-ups.
While still requiring a bit of polish Mario Kart Tour looks to be coming along nicely, & come summer Nintendo should have yet another hit on their hands.
