The retro gaming trean shows no signs of slowing what with Sega’s mini MegaDrive all set to hit store shelves this September 19, but that might not be all we see from Sega according to Chief Contents Officer Hiroyuki Miyazaki. Speaking to Famitsu, Mr Miyazaki made clear that Sega has looked into both Saturn & Sega CD Minis, however the cost of producing a Saturn Mini has put the idea on the back burner. A Sega CD console is far more likely, if that is, the Sega mini MegaDrive sells well enough.

Sega are gearing up to fully reveal the Sega mini MegaDrive & all of its per-loaded 40 during e3.
