Virtual E3: 2022
E3 will again eschew an in-person event in favour of a virtual event in 2022. E3 went the same way last year, streaming the event for audiences over the internet with no public spectators in attendance.
The decision was made due to concerns over holding an event with the COVID-19 pandemic.
