Penny Blood & Armed Fantasia Reach Funding
As we wrote before staff from a pair classic JRPG series, Shadow Hearts and Wild Arms, to be getting a pair of spiritual successors in the form of Penny Blood and Armed Fantasia respectively.
The two games look to be bringing the same gameplay and style of their predecessors, and it’s no surprise given then staff making both games.
The first big hurdle ahead of Penny Blood & Armed Fantasia was to receive funding though the website Kickstarts, and the good news is they have.
The fundraising campaign has totalled ¥379,328,385. That is more that triple the goal of ¥100,000,000. Now work can begin on both games in earnest.
Penny Blood and Armed Fantasia will be releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Both titles may appear on a possible future Nintendo console, but that will be dependant on what the Mario maker does in the future.
