Football Manager 27 Trial
Free footie
Football Manager 2027 is going free, for a few days at least. The last entry in the world’s biggest football management simulator wasn’t quite up to the standards that fans expect from Football Manager, that is to say, it wasn’t very good. Bugs and missing modes left a bitter taste in the mouth, but developers Sports Interactive must be feeling a lot more confident about FM 27, because they’re letting people try it for free. From the 29th of October, 2026, until the 3rd of November, Football Manager 2027 will be available as a free trial version of the game, so fans can see if the newest iteration of FM is worth the ticket price. On top of that, if you like what you play then you can carry over your save when the game releases later in November.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Playing dome of the survival horror games in my GOG and Steam libraries.
