The Doomed Month of August
Is it worth it?
Evercade has said that an ‘iconic’ announcement is going to be made on the 6th of August.
They might not have said it explicitly, but it seems almost certainly that the announcement is going to be detailing the Doom cart that we were told by Blaze was coming to Evercade. The flame graphics that Blaze is using is the same they used when announcing the Doom cart and this comes off the recent accidental early listing of the Doom collection.
What’s more interesting is whether this reveal will end up showing that the Doom collection will only have two games on it because I can’t see how Blaze could justify such a collection as value for money.
Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to Turok with the collection on Switch.
