Doom on Evercade

We’re doomed

We know that Doom is coming to Evercade, and we know it’s coming this year (assuming there are no delays), but Blaze hasn’t told us much else. We may know a little more now though.

Youtuber Madlittlepixel happened across a listing for the Doom collection, and he even got a screenshot of it.

The image seems to say there will be two games on the cart, presumably Doom and Doom 2, and the cart itself is coming in a red colour. The box is blue, so that would mean we are getting PC versions of Doom rather than console versions, so no Playstation or Nintendo 64 Dooms by the looks of it, though this isn’t necessarily the case.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to Turok with the collection on Switch.
