Oh Nintendo, what kind of E3 Direct will you treat us to this year? Nintendo presentations are difficult to predict at the best of times, but given the issues the Mario factory has faced over the past year and a half or so, this E3 is extra-hard to predict.

That said, my gut tells me Nintendo will go pretty big at this E3, showing off at least four Zelda titles (Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild 2), a brand new Donkey Kong game, some actual Bayonetta 3 footage,Kirby’s return, a big Animal Crossing update, a new Smash fighter and something new from Monolith Soft. We might even get a closer look at Splatoon 3, Pokémon Legends: Arceus and, dare I say it, Metroid Prime 4, however as Nintendo have already stated most of what will be shown at this year’s E3 will arrive on the Nintendo Switch this year (except Breath of the Wild 2), so I wouldn’t be holding my breath in hopes of seeing those last four games.

As stated above, predicting not only the games Nintendo currently have in the works but games which will also be ready to launch this year is a tough task, but I think Nintendo will show off enough to excite Switch fans while at the same time keeping the likes of Metroid Prime 4 and Mario Odyssey 2 just out of sight until next year.
