Nintendo fans that purchased the multi-platform Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on the Switch have had to deal with many performance and graphical issues specific to the console. To developer ArtPlay’s and publisher 505 Games’ credit, a pledge to fix the platform specific problems through patches was quickly forthcoming, and now we have a time frame for when we can expect improvements.
Through the official Kickstarter page, 505 Games released a statement that the patches could be expected to release by ‘the end of November.’
These patches promise to make improvements to: visual fidelity, loading times, input lag and particle effects.
There are also planned patch details for Xbox One and some word on a PS4 update, but for many, the most welcome news will be the improvements to the Nintendo Switch port.
