A New Perfect Dark

Nearly 20 years ago when Microsoft purchased developers Rareware, the big game that people were waiting to hear of was a new Perfect Dark. When the sequel Perfect Dark Zero did eventually release it was underwhelming. Today Perfect Dark fans are still waiting for a worthy follow on to the much-loved Nintendo 64 classic.

Well at the Game Awards Microsoft announced that they are indeed working on a new Perfect Dark game.

First-party Microsoft developers The Initiative are handling development of the game they are calling an ‘eco sci-fi’ title, which takes place in the future after some terrible ecological events.
