Taito Egret Moving West
United Games Entertainment has announced that the Taito Egret II mini is coming to the West.
The Egret II is the next mini machine looking to replicate a classic arcade experience in a miniature form-factor. Coming with up to 50 titles from Taito (Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble, Darius Gaiden and more), looks a lot like the Sega Astro City mini, but with an adjustable screen for scrolling shooters.
The Egret II is set for release sometime in 2022, but we don’t know when yet; we also don’t know what pricing United Games Entertainment has in mind, or what they mean when they say there will be ‘different editions’ of the machine.
