In the year 1987 Japanese electronics giant Sharp released the titanic home computer, the X68000. Though it was a home computer, the X68000 was very popular as a video game machine, with arcade ports and visual novels being especially popular and plentiful.

Now it looks like that hefty retro computer will be in for a miniaturising courtesy Zuiki Inc., who have contributed to the Sega Megadrive mini, PC Engine/CoreGrafx mini.

Information is limited at the minute and limited to Japanese (not surprising given the X68000 was only sold on Japan), but Zuiki has shown off images of the possible mini machine so we may hear more soon.
