Sega is quite busy right now with the news that they are working on the Game Gear Micro, and now they’re fiddling with Japanese arcades. Specifically, Sega is involved in the development of a new Cloud-based streaming service called Fog Gaming, which would allow people (in Japan) to stream games from their local arcade to play in the comfort of their own home. It might seem a little odd to some, but unlike in the U.S.A., Great Britain or much of Europe, arcades are actually still moderately popular in Japan, that means however that this service probably won’t make its way to the West. Many are reporting this to be the big news that games Journalist Zenji Nishikawa was playing-up, which will no doubt disappoint many, even those that would welcome the chance to play arcade games at home.
