Playmaji has released an update on the official Polymega website regarding shipments for customers waiting to receive the system or it’s modules.

As shown on the left; Playmaji is now projecting that all North American orders for deluxe bundles that were placed before November 2021 will be shipped by the 3rd week of January, 2024. By the 3rd week of February we are to see all placed before December 2023 shipped, and then everything after that date to ship on March. This is unfortunately not what Playmaji project throughout this year. First was the timeframe for shipments that would be finished by October 2023,

then we had the statment that every order would in hand by the end of this year; finally we had the cart of address confirmation emails saying shipments were planned to take place in December of this year (I received one myself).

This news comes after Polymega’s X account promised ‘very good news’ concerning shipments. If this is the news I’m not sure how another delay could be considered good. We’ve been here before, however, if it turns out that Playmaji have actually correctly projected shipments this time then at least this marathon might soon be over. Perhaps this will mean that Playmaji will be able to run their company in a manner resembling normalcy and – hopefully – customers will have had the better part of a year to enjoy the consoles they’ve paid for.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Collecting Legendary Pokemon that I missed in Arceus and Sword the first time around.
