NetEase Acquires Grasshopper

Grasshopper, Goichi Suda’s (Suda51) studio, who have created such weird and wacky titles as Killer7, Lollipop Chainsaw and No More Heroes has become the latest developer to be acquired by a Chinese super corporation. The purchasing party is NetEase, who only recently announced that Yakuza series creator Mr. Toshihiro Nagoshi would be leaving Sega to head up his own team with the them (NetEase).

Mr. Goichi Suda, who is CEO at Grasshopper Manufacture, has said that the acquisition will lead to Grasshopper making higher quality games.
