There is always a danger that a new IP will fail to connect with gamers & thus not sell, perhaps the concept is a little too far out of left field or maybe just not fully realised, congratulations then to PlatinumGames who have not only managed to sidestep both of these issues alongside a myriad of others in establishing Astral Chain as a million+ selling new IP.

Well done indeed & well done to Team Ninja who have shifted over a million copies of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, a game which, before release, detractors claimed would fail to sell as the series would not survive the transition from multi-platform game to a Nintendo exclusive.

In other sales news, Pokémon Sword & Shield have also managed to ship a whopping 16.06 million copies since the games launched back in November.
