Playstation might not want to talk about their move away from physical games and the death of sentimental memory for videogames, but they’re plenty happy to sell you something.
God of War spin-off Laufey has an official release date for February, 2027. And interestingly, Santa Monica Studio, the team behind God of War, have said that Laufey will indeed be released on a disc, so I suppose Playstation don’t think it’s a waste of time or effort here, but it will be in 2028 for some reason.
Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to Turok with the collection on Switch.
