Introducing Sonic Superstars

Summer Game Fest’s opening night was yesterday, and it introduced to us Sonic Superstars, a brand new Sonic game from Sega.

Superstars looks to bring classic 2D Sonic to just about every platform but with a modern flair. The game is presented in the ‘2.5D’ perspective to bring an updated look to the old-school gameplay. We’re also going to see Sonic’s friends join the adventure, with Tails, Knuckles and Amy all present, and it looks like we could see up to 4-player fun reminiscent of the new Super Mario Bros. games.

Sonic Superstars is coming to the PS4/5, Xbox Series/One, Nintendo Switch, Steam and the Epic Games store.
