Croc Comeback – In HD
Did you play Croc back on the original Playsation? A lot of people did, though it’s something of a forgotten title these day.
It was among the first generation of 3D platformers, and as such it had some rough edges, but that didn’t stop the game finding its way onto many shelves thanks to its enjoyable gameplay—along with Spyro, Crash and the flood of other characters when platformers were premier. Unfortunately, unlike some his contemporaries, Croc hasn’t managed to find his way off those older platforms and onto modern TVs.
Jez San has some news on that front though:
Courtesy of Time Extension, Argonaut founder Jez San has let us know that a HD Croc is in the works. That’s all we know so far, and Mr. San says the game is still in early development, so is still some way away, but it’s good to see a game that has legitimately been unavailable to gamers from years is making a return.
