The Last Evercade carts of 2026

The name’s Pond

It looks like the last two Evercade carts for 2026 (December 2026) have been leaked by an early listing on a retail website. At least it wasn’t Amazon this time.

Yes, it happened again. This time the culprit was The Game Collection, a pretty large online retailer for videogames (shocking). The listing looks to have been caught by Total Video Gamers, and the last two carts are ones that I’m definitely interested in.

First is James Pond, the aquatic agent and avaricious parodist, Pond is coming to Evercade with four games on his collection, that’s Pond 1 through 3 and the Aquatic games spin-off. Then there’s the Last Ninja & IK collection, with a massive 14 games, though there are a number of variants of the core games on the collection, namely the Last Ninja trilogoy of games and International Karate and IK+.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Playing dome of the survival horror games in my GOG and Steam libraries.
