Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael; it’s fair to say that the four ‘heroes in a half shell’ have been around the block more than a few times, but this time the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or at least one of them, is in for a darker tale.

One of the surprises for the recent THQ Nordic showcase was definitely The Last Ronin, which is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based off the comic The Last Ronin. The title takes place in an alternate tell of the Turtles’ story, where the evil Foot Clan has claimed New York, and now only one of the four brothers has to fight evil ninja clan.

We don’t have a release date and we don’t get anything from the teaser trailer (is anyone else tired of trailers that don’t show anything?), but we do know that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is going to release on the PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’ probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it.

Something I’m doing at the moment? Playing through the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection, and all the other mainline Final Fantasy games up 12 on the Switch.
