Polymega & Atari

It has been all quiet on the Polymega front since the last shipment update in march; that was until we had a new development yesterday. Polymega and Atari have announced a joint partnership. The new deal will see Polymega produce a new module that will allow the loading of Atari 2600 and 7800 cartridges on the system, and the Atari VCS will be compatible with the as yet unreleased Polymega Remix.
The news is welcome simply as a sign that the Polymega is still alive and kicking—something customers that hold unfulfilled orders will be pleased about. But more than that, what everybody wants is to see all outstanding orders fulfilled. Hopefully we will see Polymega make good on their promise for such, and people who have had outstanding orders from years will finally get their hands on a console.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’ probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it.
Something I’m doing at the moment? Being impress by Project Firestart.
