No Physical Doom Eternal For Switch

Bethesda has made the decision to release Doom Eternal as a digital-only title through the Nintendo e-Shop. The game, which is already available on the PS4 and Xbox One physically, was due for both a digital and physical release on the Switch also, but Bethesda has reversed that position. It’s not clear (as of writing) why this decision was made, but it will prove disappointing to gamers that prefer to own the games they buy, not to mention those that have already pre-ordered the physical version of Doom Eternal.
