New Silent Hill: The Short Message

For what feels like years now rumours have flitted about the internet about a new Silent Hill game just waiting to be announced. These rumours swell at every game event, from Playstation state of plays to the Tokyo Games Show but there is nothing to show for it.

Now news out of South Korea looks to finally be putting some veracity behind the rumours.

A title called Silent Hill: The Short Message has been rated on the Korean ratings board for South Korea, and the listed publisher is a company called UNIANA. Gematsu writes that UNIANA is a company responsible for other Konami titles published in the country.

This could signal just what fans have been waiting for since the last proper entry into the Silent Hill series (Downpour) back in 2012
