Mario RPG Remake
It’s back in a big way. Nintendo has reached deep down into their well of past titles and yanked out the Super Nintendo classic Super Mario RPG. The first role-playing game in the Mario franchise is not only coming to the Nintendo Switch but it’s getting a shiny new 3D gloss of paint.
Mario and his pals will are getting the Link’s Awakening treatment with a full remake, transforming the isometric faux-3D into the real thing.
The game was the first to bring the popular turn-based mechanics of Square’s popular NES and Super Nintendo RPGs to mascot Mario—which makes sense since Square made the original.
The remake for Super Mario RPG is coming to the Nintendo Switch on the 17/11/23.
