Lollipop’d Into Next Year

Did you know That James Gunn (writer and director of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies) co-wrote the original Lollipop Chainsaw game? With that little bit of videogames related trivial out of the way: the remake of the pom-pom punching, zombie zonking, chainsaw swinging cult favourite, Lollipop Chainsaw has been delayed. The remake – Lollipop Chainsaw RePop – has been pushed back until 2024, according to developer Dragami Games, and is to ensure the title’s quality. RePop is said to be a faithful remake for modern consoles which will try to stay as true to the original as possible while making use of modern platforms—so old and new fans can revisit Juliet Starling and her boyfriend

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’ probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it.
