International Football Returns To FM
Finally, Ireland will win something
Sports Interactive have had a hard time of it with Football Manager 2026. What started as Football Manager 2025 before being cancelled (and moved to 2026), FM26 has had plenty of criticism levelled at it for changes to the user interface, missing content and more bugs than an influenza outbreak at an ant farm. But SI has been doing what they can to put things right, and the latest of that is the return of international football to FM26, through a free update.
Coming from the official Football Manager website, Studio Director Miles Jacobson expects the free update to roll out on the 26thof May, 2026.
Mr. Jacobson had also assured that SI is still intent on further improving things going forward, and that they’ve learned a lot for future releases.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Taking the Multisystem 2 for a spin.
