Evercade Price Increase
Money went up in a blaze
Even Evercade isn’t immune to the current turbulence around tech prices. Blaze, the Evercade manufacturer, has been busy this year with new game carts and hardware, and that’s a good sign fot the health of the platform in these times of studio closures and spin-offs, but Evercade isn’t completely unaffected. Coming from the official Evercade blog, Blaze has announced that prices from Evercade carts and Super Pockets are raising in the U.K. and Europe from July of this year.
‘From July 2026, Evercade cartridge prices will move from £19.99 to £24.99 in the UK, and from €24.99 to €29.99 in Europe. Super Pocket will move from £49.99 to £59.99 in the UK, and from €59.99 to €69.99 in Europe.’
Prices will be unchanged in the U.S.A. This price change has been blamed on the cost of flash memory hardware, so we’ll be paying £5 more for Evercade games going forward.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to Turok with the collection on Switch.
