Bonanza Bros. might be coming back. The comic criminals from Sega’s past have been largely dormant for years, despite being fairly familiar back on the Mega Drive, but a new trademark looks to be the signal for change. The detectives over at Gematsu spotted the clerical breadcrumb through EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office), on the 14th of April, 2026.
This is hot on the heels of Sega’s new Sega Universe initiative, which looks to celebrate Sega’s past, and Sega’s efforts to revive old franchise’s like Shinobi and Streets of Rage.
