tango gameworks

After plans to close Tango Gamesworks (Evil Within, Ghostwire Tokyo) by Xbox, a lot of people were left feeling regretting the decision, as it looked like a talent studio was going away. Now things are looking very differently for the studio behind Hi-Fi Rush. It’s been announced that the South Korean games publisher Krafton; publisher of ‘PlayerUnkown’s’ Battlegrounds and The Callisto Protocol, has confirmed the acquisition.

What future projects Tango Gameworks will be working on now that they’re under Krafton we don’t know, but since the publisher decided to acquire Tango, that might mean that they like what they’ve seen from the developer so far and will want more of the same.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to the black hole that is Football Manager.
