Splitterhead FBTW

Summer Game Fest, the E3 replacement, is one day away. As it was last year, face-of-the-fest Mr. Geoff Keighley is drumming up hype for this year’s show. And as if it were planned, the news surrounding Silent Hill 2’s remake has landed nicely next to Mr. Keighley’s news that Slitterhead is in for an appearance at SGF this year.

From Keiichiro Toyama, the man behind the first Silent Hill (and the Forbidden Siren games), Slitterhead is a new horror game from Mr. Toyama’s fledgling Bokeh Game Studio. Slitterhead was actually revealed three years ago, and since then the Bokeh has been fairly quiet about what to expect for this new horror title. Hopefully this appearance at Summer Game Fest 2024 will bring us some new details and some gameplay.

The Crying Stars Is Available Now

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to the black hole that is Football Manager.
