Resident Evil Is Back

For some time now one of the est games ever made, Resident Evil (that’s the original Resident Evil), has been quite hard to come by. Although Resident Evil – and all the Resident Evils up to Code Veronica for that matter – have all been released on PC, some time ago the classic survival horror games have effectively disappeared from the internet.
Steam hasn’t been selling the original three games and neither has the Epic Games store. The good news is that the first three RE games are coming back, courtesy of GOG.
Now we just need that physical collection of all the RE games from 0-Code Veronica, along with a gallery mode that contains hi-res scans and 3D models of the manuals and game boxes, Digital eclipse style, just like I’ve been asking Capcom for in eeach of their surveys—that and more Breath of Fire, collection, new games, any Breath of Fire really.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Returning to the black hole that is Football Manager.
