prince of Persia cancelled

Sands of time is out of time

After just about half a decade of troubled development the remake of the PS2 classic, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, has been cancelled. The move to remove the remake has come as a surprise to many (myself included), since it wasn’t that long ago that Ubisoft was saying the remake was set for a release this year. On top of that, it can only be considered bizarre that a giant like Ubisoft has struggled like a drunkard on a bicycle to simply produce a better looking, better running Sands of Time, a game from 2003.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Finally tackling Octopath Traveller 2.
