Polymega LIght Guns

We’ve been here before. The GC01 (that’s the light gun controller that works on modern TVs and monitors) was supposed to release last year, but was delayed to this year. The release window of ‘early 2025’ is hardly stoking confidence, especially given Playmaji’s track record. However, Playmaji has been busy lately; since the first release of the Polymega Collection DVD (game compilations licenced for the Polymega by Playmaji) the team behind the beleaguered emulation machines has managed a steady output of products, going all the way to volume 8 of their compilations, so steady in fact that one might get the impression that Playmaji has finally gotten their act together. Maybe that’s going a little too far (I’d sooner see improvements to the Polymega’s standard of emulation and bug fixs, but small victories and all that) but it is a good sign, and now we have a new update from Playmaji concerning their light guns.

So if things go as planned we might see the next piece of Polymega hardware in the hands of the unreasonably patient Polymega fan before long.
