Platinum To Clovers
The number of staff that have left Platinum for Hideki Kamiya’s Clovers game studio have been put into stark display after Mr. Kamiya’s latest Youtube video. In the video we see a section showing a group of Mr. Kamiya’s friends out for drinks called ‘former Platinum Games Directors’ drinking party’. The drinking session had six attendants (including Mr. Kamiya himself), and included Astral Chains Director Takahisa Taura and Bayonetta 3 Director Yusuke Miyata.
Although the news of more talented staff leaving Platinum Games is bad for the studio, the recent reveal that Platinum is working on Ninja Gaiden 4 is hopefully a signal of better news in the future.
