Marvel Vs Capcom Collection

The news that Capcom had managed to do what no one was really confident they would and re-release not just Marvel Vs Capcom 2, but another six Marvel tie-in titles that the Street Fighter company has made into one massive collection. On top of that, the collection is going to be physical, on cart and disc for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. But not so fast, beacuse there’s a slight wrinkle in this shirt.

Although it’s true that we’ll see a physical release on Playstation and Switch (and maybe the Xbox Series), but Nintendo fans in Europe won’t be so lucky. In Europe, Capcom will only be offering Switch owners a code to download the game; a code in a box.

Just how these companies decide which regions will get what and which people would like to buy what is beyond me, but at least we’ll be able to import a physical copy from the U.S.A. or Japan, even if it will cost a little bit more.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? I started dipping my toes in the vast sea of Kemco JRPGs.
