Hi-Fi Rush 2

It feels like the people at Tano Gamesworks probably haven’t even had time to breath; first it looked like the studio might be in danger of closing when Microsoft decided that the company was surplus to requirements after legendary developer Shinji Mikami left the studio, only to learn that Tango would continue after being acquired by Krafton (publisher of PUBG and The Callisto Protocol). After all that you’d think that news from the developer might be quiet for a while, but Krafton are having none of it. While speaking with GamesIndustry.biz, the publisher revealed that Tango had already started work on a sequel to the well received actioner before they were even acquired by the South Korean publisher.
Not only did we get that news, but also that Tango is interested in bringing Hi-Fi Rush to the Nintendo Switch. Finally, and probably unfortunately, Evil Within will be staying with Microsoft and not going with Tango Gameworks, so who know when or even if we see a new instalment in the best survival horror series in recent years.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? I started dipping my toes in the vast sea of Kemco JRPGs.
