Hell dives Into Xbox

Bug busting and robot wrecking is coming to the Xbox in a hellish platform jump, when Hell Divers 2 makes the leap and dives into the Xbox on the 26th of August, 2025. Hell Divers 2 was a Playstation exclusive until it found its way to PC; and now Sony is following through with their strategy of making live-service offering available on many platforms in hopes of increasing sales and ‘engagement’.
It might be good for the metrics, but as far as I’m concerned, the further erosion of exclusive games, and by extension competition is bad for consumers in the long run—of course, Sony is seeing the (pound sterling) signs, and that’s what brought Hell Divers to PC in the first place.
Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Taking the Nintendo Switch 2 for a spin.
