Grand Theft Auto VI Delayed
Although it’s far from the top of my list of best game, the Grand theft Auto series is one of the most popular in the videogame industry, and GTA VI will probably end up as the most anticipated game of all time. That anticipation was set to culminate in the scheduled release of GTA VI in 2025. There has been a rather hard dose of scepticism with regards to that release date; I wasn’t one of those people – I think more than a decade is time enough to develop a sequel – but it turns out the naysayers were right. Developers Rockstar have confirmed the delay, with the new release date being scheduled for May, 2026. Given the concrete nature of this new release date (previously Rockstar was only saying 2025 for GTA VI), this new release date must have some more confidence behind it.
