Evercade Release Update

If you’ve been thinking about picking up one of the last Evercade cartridges coming out at the end of this year, or some Evercade hardware, but you are worried about the supply problems that Blaze has suffered earlier this year, well fear not; Blaze has an update for you.

In a new update on the official Evercade website, Blaze outlines that the bar-top arcade machine, the Evercade Alpha, is on track to release in November:

UK and US, customers will receive stock by the end of November. However in Western and Northern Europe, there will be some delays due to local logistical challenges.’

For the cartridges:

Toaplan Arcade 3, Toaplan Arcade 4, Data East Arcade 2, and Metal Dragon/Life on Mars. This means that the final two carts of the year will arrive earlier than expected in several territories, together with the November cartridge releases.’

Finally, for the Evercade EXP-R:

in the process of being delivered to retailers. We expect these to ship out by the end of November to customers.’

The Crying Stars Is Available Now

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? I started dipping my toes in the vast sea of Kemco JRPGs.
