Evercade Vol 3

No stock Funstock

Blaze has had some issues navigating the more protectionist leanings of the present American administration. Tariffs designed to curb the flight of labour and manufacturing opportunities from within the U.S.A. to foreign soil has led spreadsheets of costs and wiggles it see what can be absorbed and what can be raised, where can production be moved to and when, but Blaze hasn’t had an easy time of it. Now Funstock, the official online site for Evercade stock (it’s actually connected to Blaze) will cease all orders from Funstock to the U.S.A. An email from Blaze reads:

Due to the recent changes in the suspension of the De Minimis exemption for commercial shipments globally, effective from August 29th, and service updates from couriers, we’ve made the difficult decision to stop new orders for US customers from Funstock until further notice.

Effective immediately, US customers will be able to visit the website but will no longer be able to complete a purchase. This will not affect customers in Canada and all other territories.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Fiddling with the Lenovo Legion Go.
