Anbernic DS

Dual-screen emulation
Games are good and videogames are very good. Old videogames are great, but playing them isn’t always easy—that’s were Anbernic comes in. There seems to be so many individuals offings just as many emulation handhelds to make playing your old favourites easier, and Anbernic is arguably the most well known of the lot. The latest news coming out of Anbernic is for their new new Anbernic RG DS.
As the DS in the name suggests, the RG DS is a dual-screen emulation handheld that is about as close to a shameless Nintendo DS clone as you can get when no genetics are involved. The machine doesn’t have a release date yet or a prince, but Anberic is promising it will cost less than $100.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Playing though Lost Eidolons and Unicorn Overlord.
