An Analogue Solution

Analogue might be known for making quality FPGA based consoles but they’re also known for delays, and their Analogue 3D (Nintendo 64 clone console) has been hit with another one; at least this delay is supposed to only set the release of the Analogue 3D back to next month.

According to Analogue, the Analogue 3D is an FPGA based solution to your Nintendo 64 needs. All officially licenced N64 games are supposed to run on the clone console, and with HDMI output. The Analogue 3D has already been delayed to this month, but following disruption from tariff changes the console has been delayed for another month. Analogue assures that any changes in costs brought about by the tariff changes will be absorbed by themselves, which should mean anyone who already has a pre-order for the Analogue 3D shouldn’t have to part with any more money.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Fiddling with the Lenovo Legion Go.
