Activision, Llama & Evercade

A llama walks into a bar…
There can’t be much more space in the Evercade library, can there? The console for retro and indie collectors has seen such massive expansion this year that it’s quite staggering. Not only has the quantity of new carts releasing this year been impressive, but the size of the names now signed on with Evercade have only grown. Getting Crystal Dynamics and Tomb Raider was the benchmark for Evercade, but that’s been surpassed now by work with SNK, Rare and, I’m very surprised to say, Activision coming to the platform. Along with the newly announced Activision comes Llamasoft and 27 games from the industry’s most famous Camelidophile.
Both the Activision and Llamasoft carts will be releasing in November, 2025.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Fiddling with the Lenovo Legion Go.
