Evercade redux

By way of Crazy Burger, the premier Evercade Youtube (at least in my opinion) we have footage of the latest Retro Titans podcast (you can listen to that here), and on that podcast was the CEO of Blaze Entertainment, Andrew Byatt. The latest episode of the podcast had some very interesting information in it that Crazy Burger was kind enough to pick out for us: CEO Andrew Byatt believes that 14 or 15 new Evercade carts are on the cards for release in 2025. It seemed as if Mr. Byatt wasn’t entirely sure if the 14 or 15 number had actually been announced publicly yet (as far as I’m aware it hasn’t been officially announced yet), but coming from the CEO of Blaze, it seems a safe bet that, as long as everything goes to plan, we will be seeing between 11 and 12 other carts besides the 3 that have already been released.

Mr. Byatt also said that more stock for the sold-out Toaplan Collections 3 and 4 are also expected to be restocked by early March, or April at the latest.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Playing through Neo Dimension Fantasian.
