Evercade Roadmap for 2026
12 for the year
Blaze has released an image for their ‘cartridge roadmap’ of 2026 for Evercade carts they plan on releasing this year. Don’t get ahead of yourself; Blaze has not named any new releases yet—the only revealed collections coming this year are the Turrican collection and Taito Arcade 3 collection (releasing in February). What the roadmap does show is that we can expect 10 more carts to join the Turrican and the Taito Arcade 3 collection this year, with releases coming in pairs every other month; that’s two carts released every two months of the year (two in February, two April and so on).
What can we expect these new carts to be? I’m only guessing, but it seems to me that a save bet is more NEOGEO games, more games from Activision and some more home computer titles.

Playing videogames, writing about videogames, considering videogames—that about sums it up. Videogames are the one hobby that I’ve kept since I was only little, zapping ducks on the NES or knocking out MR. X. And when I’m not enjoying classics from the bit generation of games or checking out those earliest of polygons, I’m probably playing something from today’s age of modern gaming: if I’m not complaining about it. Something I’m doing at the moment? Finally tackling Octopath Traveller 2.
