Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair.

While Yooka-Laylee got a lot right in its attempt to capture the magic of platforming classics like Banjo-Kazooie, developers Playtonic would be the first to admit the game wasn’t perfect, so they’re having a second crack at it with a sequel dubbed Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair.

Unlike the original Yooka-Laylee however, The Impossible Lair will adopt a 2.5D look this time around, emulating the likes of Donkey Kong Country in both style & gameplay.

Whether the move will ultimately endear or alienate fans of the original Yooka-Laylee is difficult to say, however, if Playtonic can iron out the hiccups which underlined their first effort The Impossible Lair could be a game worth keeping an eye on.
