Nintendo has finally released some information about Pokémon HOME, their cloud-based service that will link both Nintendo Switch consoles and Mobile devices together, integrating Pokémon over multiple platforms. If you think of the Pokémon Bank, Nintendo’s other cloud service, then you’re on the right track.

Effectively Pokémon HOME is the service that will act as a link between mobile devices, the let’s GO games, and 3DS Pokémon games through the Pokémon Bank. There’s a catch though, not all the features of Pokémon Home.

Pokémon HOME will be available in both a ‘Basic’ and ‘Premium’ version, and features available will be dependent on the version you get.

The most important difference between these is probably the ability to trade Pokémon from the Pokémon Band and HOME. So anyone who wishes to trade Pokémon from 3DS titles will need to pay for ‘Premium’.

Price wise HOME is roughly three times the cost of the Pokémon Bank at $15.99 for 12 months on the Switch. There are also options for 1 month at $2.99 and $4.99 for 3 months.

Pokémon HOME will be available in February 2020, and for more details on the service and its other features you can visit the official U.S. site here.
