The original Playstation had some great strategy RPGs in its library, and one of the more uncommon is Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena. The game has always found its way onto ‘hidden gem‘ and ‘underrated games‘ lists, and for PAL territory gamer that’s even more the case since the game never made it to the region. Well to the surprise of many Happinet

(a Japanese entertainment company owned by Bandai Namco) has announced the future release of a new game in the Brigandine series.

Titled Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, the game is going to be a Nintendo Switch exclusive with a release to be in 2020. The development team will include the likes of Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles X), Kenji Terada (Final Fantasy series) and Tenpei Sato (Brigandine, Disgaea & others).

Happinet have released a trailer for Brigandine that you can see here.
